Carbasalate calcium is a salt produced by complexing calcium acetylsalicylate with urea. It has the same metabolic characteristics and pharmacological effects as aspirin. When hydrolyzed in water, it forms Acetylsalicylic Acid, which acts as an antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and aggregation inhibitor. It can be used to treat fever and inflammation in poultry and livestock.
