Levamisole hydrochloride is the levorotatory form of tetraimidazole, which selectively inhibits succinate dehydrogenase in the muscle of worms, so that fenugreek cannot be reduced to succinate, thus affecting the anaerobic metabolism of worms’ muscle and decreasing the energy production, and it is a common parasiticides.
